Cherry Tree Lane Vacations was founded when a couple of coworkers who became friends and then travel agents, decided to partner together to create an agency that puts clients first and just as importantly, focuses on the professional development of its agents. In the early months of 2020, Holly and Melissa started talking about what it would be like to partner in the travel industry and were in the middle of researching the possibilities when a pandemic hit. To say that this pandemic hit the travel industry hard is an understatement. Despite the uncertainty, Holly and Melissa felt that this would be the perfect time to branch out on their own and start their own agency.
With the travel industry at a standstill, this was the perfect time to research how to start an agency, develop training plans for agents and come up with a brand that would reflect what Holly and Melissa envisioned for their business. The name for the agency went through quite a few iterations and they settled on Cherry Tree Lane Vacations as a subtle nod to one of their favorite Disney films, Mary Poppins, but also because they met while working in Washington, DC, a city famous for it’s spring time Cherry Blossom festival.
At this, our grand opening, we are a team of 9 travel specialists with over 25 years of combined Disney vacation and family travel experience! Each one of our travel specialist knows the ins and outs of planning magical Disney vacations including parks and resorts, cruise line and world travel with Adventures by Disney. Additionally, we have experience in planning Universal parks and resorts, SeaWorld, all major cruise lines, guided tours and river cruises. You can see our full list of travel partners here.
